Charlotte Shyllon

Charlotte is the Founder and CEO of TTWF, a charity established in 2024 to expand and enhance the work of the social enterprise Black in White, which has run this Poetry Competition for four years.
A former pharmacist, journalist, senior public relations (PR), marketing and business professional, she is the lead author of the 5 Black in White anthologies published to date. Her poem โ€˜What if diseases didnโ€™t destroy destiniesโ€™ was selected for inclusion in the Peopleโ€™s Poem 2023 by the poet Jaspreet Kaur.

Anni Domingo

Anni is an actress, director, and writer working in radio, TV, films and theatre.
She has worked in America, Europe, Africa, Australia and in many theatres around the UK. She currently lectures on drama. Her poems and short stories are published in various anthologies. Her first screenplay โ€˜Blessed Assuranceโ€™ has just been filmed and will be out this year. Her debut novel, Breaking the Maafa Chain, was first published in September 2021. She is working on a second novel,ย Ominira,ย and is doing her PhD at Kingโ€™s College London.

Cornelius Alexander

Cornelius is a former local journalist with more than 35 years of experience as a PR practitioner. He began his career as a Press Officer at Scotland Yard and has worked for the Mayor of London, the Probation Service, and the NHS. He received the 2018 Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Sir Stephen Tallents Medal for Outstanding Contribution to PR, and is the CIPRโ€™s 2024 Industry Legend.
He has worked for 15 years on the CIPRโ€™s Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) initiative and chaired its D&I Working Group from 2010 to 2013.
